Andre El-Mann Arazi Reflects On Life After The Pandemic
Andre El-Mann Arazi does not have time to sit back and imagine what might have been for himself and Fibra Uno had the COVID-19 pandemic not arrived in Mexico in March 2020. The movement of the virus across the world brought Mexico into play later than in parts of Europe and caught the Fibra Uno CEO at a time when he was celebrating major developments in reported revenues. The Fibra Uno CEO was celebrating a 12 percent rise in revenues for the real estate development brand before COVID-19 prompted an economic shutdown of Mexico.

The stunning rise of the first real estate trust in Mexico quickly became a secondary factor as the loss of life caused by COVID-19 began to become apparent. In response to the fears and concerns of the front-line workers within the Mexican healthcare system, Andre El-Mann Arazi decided to bring Fibra Uno into the breach of the battle. Arazi believes the success of his company would pale if the people of Mexico were not assisted by the company as they looked forward to a bright new future.
During the pandemic, Andre El-Mann Arazi spent much of his time in lockdown looking for ways of helping his tenants work through the difficulties of their businesses closing down. Alongside this important work, Fibra Uno pushed to the front of the pandemic response by allowing frontline workers to protect their families from the dangers of the pandemic. This was achieved by opening up the hotels of the Fibra Uno group and allowing healthcare workers free access to rooms as many feared to take the virus home to their families at the end of their daily work routine.
