Bhanu Choudhrie’s opinion on the Aviation Sector response to COVID-19.
The creator of Alpha Aviation Group, Bhanu Choudhrie has recently been sharing visions and perspectives of the airline industry following the development of the current world pandemic. Hosted by Malcolm Gallagher on ‘Meet the Leader’, he talked about how the air industry responded to the Corona Virus.
Bhanu Choudhrie has been constantly improving on aviation by emphasizing on innovative training of pilots. This has enabled London and the country at large to produce trailblazing pilots who can handle regional and budget planes.
After improvements in technologies, Bhanu Choudhrie’s company was among the first ones to use simulators when training. In-flight training reduced and it minimized the time taken in learning. Money paid to the institutions also went down as a result of this.
Safety standards during training have been improved over time. The simulator has familiarized learners with the plane systems and every improvement on planes. Due to this, Alpha Aviation Group has invested a lot on simulators and now has 11 with the most recent being the Airbus A320 2.0.
According to Bhanu Choudhrie, aviation training has been evolving slowly even though the flight business has had a lot of technological advancements. With the Corona Virus pandemic, people have had to keep up and find the loopholes that need fixing. First airlines in London stopped flying and it was wise since the regional spread was minimized substantially.
Critical of the way the government treated some airlines, he insisted that the government should make decisions while taking small airlines into account. It was supposed to aid both the small and large firms to prevent the crumbling of investments.
In the long-term, Bhanu Choudhrie is very hopeful. New pilots will be needed soon when the pandemic effects will have declined. At the moment, his firm is decreasing the number of flights and training will be made remote to allow accessibility. The important thing now will be industry players coming together and push the agenda forward so that the regulators allow this change. According to him, optimism is important and only time will tell.
