Lazarus started his first business at a young age. He would go through various schools with very high grades and was regarded as being highly athletic.

However, he would ultimately choose to to go Melbourne Business School as to which he would go on and earn a master’s degree for business administration.

His academic talent would help him to easily transition to the startup world as to which he would create multiple businesses over a span of ten years. 4 of the businesses he sold would bring him a vast amount of wealth.
And, by age 35 he earned enough to go into retirement early.
Even though he could have chosen this path, he instead focused his efforts on diving into another part of his passion which was to consult other startup companies.
As a startup consultant, he highlighted the fact that he utilized a rigorous approach to developing innovative products and services.
He stressed the fact that it wasn’t the business plan that would dictate success, but rather, how said plan connects with stakeholders and customers.
Having created many successful business, he would tell other startups that they should ensure that there is an emotional connection between shareholders, customers and their company.
Luke Lazarus proclaimed that it’s very easy and fairly common for companies to get lost in the midst of releasing new products and increasing profit margins. So much so that they gradually lose that emotional connection with their stakeholders and customers and subsequently, their revenues.
He stresses that in order for startups to thrive and grow, they need to establish that connection from the very beginning. In order for startups do this, he says that they should create a message that is able to instantly create a connection from day one.
