Gino Pozzo was introduced to football at an early age as his family, both immediate and extended, has a long history with football. His father, Gianpaolo, is known as a football fanatic and enthusiast an over his home town Udinese.

At one time Gino’s father bought Udinese football club and together with his family managed to turn around a low performing club and transformed it into a profit-making business venture. From his maternal side, Gino had enough mentors from his mother’s side as his uncles were once presidents to the Udinese Calcio Football Club back in Italy.

Gino Pozzo is a family of traditions, and it values loyalty as much as it respects their ventures. For the past and present generations, they have maintained their commitment to their previous Udinese club for as long as we can remember.

As fate would later have it, Gino found the love of his love while on Studies in the United States. Gino got married, and they relocated back to Spain in the City of Barcelona. Gino spent the next phase of his life in Barcelona where he and his family stayed for close to 20 years before relocating to London. In London, Gino is involved directly in the daily management of his newly acquired football club, Watford.
