Andre El-Mann Arazi Ponders the Economic Future
Andre El-Mann Arazi is the CEO of Fibra Uno, a highly successful real-estate investment firm that is headquartered in Mexico. Because of the success of his company and because he has decades of experience in real estate, it is well worth listening to his opinions about the market during the recent coronavirus crisis.
Looking forward
Essentially, Andre El-Mann Arazi is optimistic about the future of Mexico’s economy in general and the real-estate market in particular even as the pandemic rages. He feels that, while the pandemic has shut down some areas of the economy, real estate is not one of them. Having said that, he cautions that the market is not the same as it was, and it’s necessary to recognize that and adapt. Opportunities still exist on both the buying and selling ends, but they aren’t as apparent as they once were.
On the selling side of the equation, he recommends putting on a show with properties to make them stand out. He says it’s more critical than ever to have buildings look good from the outside for them to move because buyers are more sensitive to appearances when they are feeling insecure about the future in general.
On the buying side, he notes that mortgage rates are low now because of the pandemic, and it’s an excellent time to acquire property. It’s simply a question of searching out the best properties and doing the necessary homework. For those willing to take moderate risks, there is opportunity.
