Bhanu Choudhrie and the Alpha Aviation Academy
Bhanu Choudhrie is the executive director and founder of the private equity firm, C & C Aviation Group based in London. The group expanded to aviation when it partnered with Prescient Systems & Technologies to create the Alpha Aviation Group. Of his many business ventures, aviation is closest to Bhanu Choudhrie’s heart.
One venture of Bhanu Choudhrie, Air Deccan preceded the Alpha Aviation Group. While involved in Air Deccan, Bhanu Choudhrie learned professional pilot training was of paramount concern. Now, operating for over a decade, a subsidiary of the Alpha Aviation Group was created to address that concern, the Alpha Aviation Academy. As a learning platform for airline pilots, after ten years in business, it has risen to be one of the world’s leading professional academies. Follow Bhanu Choudhrie on Medium.
The Alpha Aviation Academy trains pilots from Cebu Pacific, Air Arabia, VietJet Air, Jet Airways and Philippine Airlines. The Academy provides professional and novice pilots access to flight simulators. For every aviation training institute, flight simulators represent a huge investment. Its primary purpose is to challenge pilots in a non-lethal environment with no lives at stake, like flight crew or passengers. Hundreds of commercial pilots will develop muscle memory from their use of the flight simulators. Muscle memory ensures fast and accurate responses to flight emergencies.
His experience in aviation training and operating an airline has revealed a shortage of professional pilots. This shortage is causing a reduction in operations and growth of the industry. According to the growth of the industry, by 2034 there will be a shortage of a half-million new pilots. As the aviation industry grows and new airlines start-up in the Far East and Asia, Bhanu Choudhrie and the Alpha Aviation Academy take novice pilots to highly trained professionals.
Alpha Aviation Academy has trained pilots from 67 countries and graduated 800 in eleven years. Six hundred graduates have taken positions as second officers for Airbus A320. The school’s Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) Training Program trains novice pilots to be professional pilots. This training program lasts for 22 months.
The airline industry has traditionally relied upon on pilots who received their training in the military. Now, Alpha Aviation Academy based in London can train the new pilots needed, especially in the position of first officer, second in command. Read more: http://www.ccalphagroup.co.uk/our-team/
