Dr. Abdulla Al Humaidi: Kuwaiti Surgeon Breaking Barriers in the Corporate World

Watching him as he reflected on his 5-year ownership of Ebbsfleet United in 2018, one would easily discern why his plan was greater than just saving Fleet from extinction. His restatement of the company’s ambitious long-term plan, buoyed by the club’s evident successes within the four years, portrays an image of someone whose heart and soul are with the club.  Dr. Abdulla Al Humaidi, the founder and CEO of the now-vastly successful Kuwaiti European Holding Group (KEH) and the face behind the millionaire Kuwaiti family, is a no-ordinary investor. He doubles as the chair of Remal and Al Mudon, 2 Kuwaiti Stock Exchange-listed companies, and an important cog in the wheels of several subsidiaries of KEH. When not following his favorite football club’s progress in the UK or managing the “British Disneyland,” he could be in Egypt, keenly following Phase 2 Aqueous Resort’s progress. Or probably somewhere in Ireland, touring Landmarque Property Group, also a subsidiary of KEH.

Dr. Abdulla Al Humaidi also manages a bevy of investments in Egypt and Hong Kong, all under his KEH conglomerate. Yet in all his business and personal escapades, Dr. Abdulla Al Humaidicuts a serious serial investor’s figure, an ambitious individual, and someone keen to seize the next lucrative opportunity in financial services, leisure, and real estate sectors. The Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland graduate, is also a medical doctor by profession. However, he has found love in the corporate world, where he manages his family’s array of businesses. Dr. Abdulla Al Humaidi shuttles between managing all of them in Kuwait, Dubai, Cairo, London, Dublin, and Hong Kong, the businesses’ offices.
