How Paula Wallace Has Influenced Modern Creative Arts Through SCAD

Paula Wallace SCAD has made impressive strides in her here since she got a Bachelor of Arts degree from Furman University. She pursued a Master of Education and Education Specialist degrees from Georgia State University Doctor of Law from Gonzaga University. And today, she is a renowned educator, author and an award winner.

SCAD Inception

She founded the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 1979 and served as an academic dean for over 20 years. SCAD is a recognized private university for various creative arts careers.

This creative arts school has several campuses in Atlanta and Georgia in the US and has also expanded to Hong Kong, Lacoste and France. SCAD has created world-wide accessible online programs as well.

Paula Wallace became the president of SCAD in 2000, and under her leadership, the institution has grown tremendously. The number of students increasing from 5,000 to over 15,000.
