IM Academy

The IM Academy was founded by Christopher Terry and Isis De La Torre in 2013 and is based in New York, USA. IM Academy provides a learning and education platform for students interested in digital educational products and services, with a focus on teaching the skills via a foreign exchange model. Students access the skills via pre-recorded app-based content model online.

The company seeks to allow students to develop skills they could apply to their trading, once they have completed their interactive training. There are 225, 000 active users on the platform and growing.

Staying ahead of innovation, company employees work remotely meaning the company does not maintain an office space which enables the company to effectively meet its goals by hiring talent from all over the world. This work model provides flexibility for employees allowing the company to meet emergency orders without disruption.

IM Academy primarily offers students learning modules that are called academies on the platform.

Students can purchase four programs which are FRX, HFX, DCX, ECX through the platform. The company also offers discounted packages of the primary modules called Elite at a rate of 54% for an initial subscription and 48% for each module for monthly subscriptions.

Educators deliver content on the platform using the “goLive” sessions which are offered in 13 languages across several days of the week and varying times, allowing the students in different time zones to have easy access and participate. These sessions last an hour and are a great way for students to clarify material via discussions with the IM Educator.

After the sessions, students can access pre-recorded video modules for later revision on their mobile devices and computers. Students with an unlimited subscription can download the sessions for later use and access even after they have ended their subscription. Refer to this page to learn more.
