Laura McQuade Looks to Improve Pregnancy Healthcare.

Laura McQuade is the founder of Planned Parenthood. She is 51 years old. She is one of the most sought-after leaders in her industry. Her company is keen to remain at the forefront of comprehensive healthcare. She is on a quest to expand her company and its horizons mainly because, of late, there have been threats from several states to ban abortions and restrictions in Title X funding.

Laura’s company has been pushing for a new deal in New York. The company intends to use its negotiation power by getting the government to listen to some of the grievances that she wishes to present. Planned Parenthood has agreed to merge with five other companies that share similar interests. The deal would see Planned Parenthood with an operating budget of around $110 million in its first year of operation. The proposed deal will see expansion in the healthcare system. 28 health centers will receive funding to accommodate over 20,000 patients annually and employ over 900 employees.

Laura explains that the merger is critical in the negotiation of the expansions. The goal is to motivate private business owners to merge with the medical facilities to provide healthcare for the people who need it. In the grand scheme of things, Planned Parenthood, together with its mergers, are looking to provide a big majority of people with access to sexual healthcare, safe abortions, and overall pregnancy healthcare. The merger will improve the chances of their voice being heard by legislators.
