Robert “Bo” Parfet’s Bold Steps in His Professional Career and Entrepreneurship

Bo Parfet is a social entrepreneur who started his profession in the field of finance. In 2003 while serving an investment banker at J.P. Morgan, he began his ski mountaineering adventure by climbing the seven summits. He wanted to achieve what a few other people had achieved –climbing the highest peaks in each continent. Bo later became among 127 individuals from the USA to complete the Seven Summits.

Together with the Explorers Club, they founded the Seven Summits Awards Program in 2004 that funds students in healthcare-related field research. He developed a partnership between the Explorers club and Kellogg School of Management to enable the explorers to share their adventure experiences with the school.

His wife, Meredith Parfet worked with him to initiate Denali Venture Philanthropy in 2010 where he currently serves as the Head Administrator. It was their avenue to fund entrepreneurs and promote business being a business-oriented family. Bo has been devoting most of his energies to Denali Venture Philanthropy since 2012 to date.

Bo is currently the Managing Director of the Prosperity Membership at DLP Real Estate since August 2020. He is also an active speaker in educational and financial institutions. Bo’s speaking engagements aim to promote the welfare of families and promote financial stability.
