Current CEO and dominating force Desiree Perez is not only a successful music executive but also focuses heavily on social equity and reform. Desiree Perez, born in Brooklyn New York to Cuban immigrant parents, is one of Roc Nation’s hidden gems. Perez began her career by working part time in a New York nightclub, where she met and connected with Jay Z, leading to extended business collaboration.

Perez has been known to have excellent leadership skills by playing a major role in expanding Roc Nation’s brand, introducing profitable liquor deals, parent companies, and cannabis collaborations.
