The Musical-Bronco Billy, a Humorous but Inspiring Story on Committing to Achieving One’s Dreams

Clint Eastwood directed the film Bronco Billy which narrated a modern-day cowboy’s story. The cowboy was referred to as Billy. In the movie, Billy is trying hard to keep his vision afloat, the travelling Wild West show. He hardly pays his workers, including his wife and a Native American, a bank teller, a former nurse, and a car thief. The cast is set on a humorous scene but is an inspiring story on committing oneself to achieve their dreams and visions even when it seems unlikely. According to thebossmagazine.com, despite Billy’s Wild West production not attracting a suitable audience, he successfully persuades his employees to put a travelling show continuously apart from making a profit.

After staying in action motion for more than five years, this show begins putting strain on the relationships with Bronco Billy. The musical preserves this plot and its components, integrating technology emergence, debates, civil rights and partisan politics. The musical Bronco Billy narrates Billy’s love story of meeting with a Manhattan woman having billion-dollar affluence on the run, Antoinette Lily. Moreover, she is a chocolate bar company’s heiress, fleeing her family lawyer, estranged stepmom, and insipid husband. Fortunately, when Antoinette, at a particular gas station, comes across Bronco Billy, she finds that she is in the right place relatively at the right time. Therefore, Billy recruits Antoinette to be his novel assistant; hence the rest becomes history.

The musical, Bronco Billy, is directed and produced by Hunter Bird and the Skylight Theatre Company. Skylight develops new playwrights and original plays. Chip Rosenbloom and John Torres, his co-writer, developed the lyrics and music for The Musical Bronco Billy.
