Jason Hope’s Opinions on the Development Stem Cells
In the past decade, there have been discussions on a lot of topics surrounding stem cells. From being addressed as the best alternative to combat certain diseases to specific organizations and groups being against its use, stem cells have gained attention globally. A lot of companies are currently working on stem cell projects due to its promising growth in the field of science. According to Jason Hope, stem cells will stay in the limelight for an extended period due to the advancements in technology and its use in the medical field.
Stems Cells in the medical field
Two decades ago, the first human embryonic stem cells were extracted. Scientists successfully grew the stem cells in the lab. Their success in developing the stem cells, which bring about the development of new cells, was a massive step in the medical field responsible for developing regenerative treatments for certain diseases. The regeneration of “parent” cells will allow the growth of undesired cells that will play a huge rule in combating various age-related conditions. It will also help in the manufacture of anti-aging drugs. Although a scientific discovery had been made that proved to be quite successful, researches hadn’t yet taken approaches to introduce stem cells in the business market in a thoroughly researched manner.
They had no medical organizations to back up their findings, and their results had not yet been agreed to by scientists across the world. Stem cells that had been utilized and grown successfully were those from matching blood donor patients. According to philanthropist Jason Hope, although the use of stem cells was successful, research still has to been done for the extensive use of stem cells in the health care industry. Jason has dedicated his charitable acts to medicine with the help of institutions such as the SENS Organization. Hope is aware that all stem cell operations are experimental until they are backed up with tests, research, and fruitful developments. Jason is in support of the idea for vast research to be done. It will go a long way in ensuring safe and effective innovations in stem cell treatments. He also knows that rushed investigations can create doubt among clients, hence the need for research.
